We had a fabulous photo shoot with Karen and Capture What You Love. It had been many years since we had taken a “formal” family photograph and Karen was amazing through it all. She provided wardrobe advice—even allowing me to text our outfits and giving me feedback. We did our photo shoot at Santa Clara University, which was a special spot for our family. Karen picked the perfect time of day and many beautiful spots around campus. The resulting pictures are lovely—with many different textures and colors.

Karen is a very warm and engaging person and this comes through in the smiles on our faces. It is not easy to get an 11-year-old boy to give a natural smile, but Karen was able to draw his smile out time and again. She is such a joy to be around and it spreads to the families she photographs. The session is so much fun and passes in the blink of an eye! She works very quickly—which is beneficial when photographing children. We ended up with so many wonderful photos and our session took only an hour.

We now have a beautiful keepsake of this time in our family’s life. I highly recommend Karen and Capture What You Love!
